Hello, World
Perhaps Hello, World is too cliché a title for the first post on a new site from a software engineer. Perhaps a better title would be something fun and creative that emphasizes my creative spirit.
Tragically, I could not resist.
Anyway, enough about the title. Websites and personal writings are an interesting thing in 2025. I feel like much of what we were promised by the internet has slipped ever farther away into the deluge of algorithms and fight for attention. Still, there's something enchanting about it. Like my spirituality, the old ways appeal to me. A time before the machinations of businesses warped such a beautiful way for humans to connect.
Maybe because of that, I feel it is more important than ever for folk to make their own spaces. Have our little websites and community forums outside of the next big social media giant. Share organically with links. Read posts from people that interest us on their own platforms.
So perhaps, Hello, World is a blessing of hope. A whisper on the winds that this little space brings me and whoever happens to find it, some joy.
Thanks for reading.
